Dress Code for clubs in Cancun?

What's your personal experience with the dress code for clubs/bar in Cancun?

Is it casual or very tendy/flashy (L.A style)?

The dress code for clubs in Can Cun varies between the season, if you go on spring break season you can dress however you want. But normally nice clubs in Mexico are like you are mentioning mostly trendy. (For a girl I will say a nice halter or tank top and a mini skirt, heels) For a guy some linen pants and a nice shirt will do the work! Have a nice time in the caribbean!

It's very casual, you'll see all kinds, from people in skimpy dresses to casual shorts etc.  Pack a little bit of everything.

You can wear what ever you want.That is if you wear anything much at all.

Very casual to somewhat dressy.  Depending on the club. Ones near the beach are much more casual. Clubs in the nicer hotels are a little more dressy.
