Is there a dress code for when you go to visit someone in jail? (ex: can you not wear dresses, open toed shoes, etc.) and are there certain things you can't wear when you go to pay a bond for someone?

  1. AVOID Stripes- or You could be in for an extended Visit!  :0

  2. The dress code will be established by the jail, so you will have to call. Anything revealing or provocative will most likely not be allowed.

Paying bond does not matter, as you have not contact with the inmates.

  3. Trooper is right. Each jail has their own set of 'dress codes' for visitors.

Call to make sure you aren't in violation.

  4. As far as I know, to my knowledge, there is not a dress code, except to obviously dress appropriately.  To cya, I would call down to whichever jail it is, and ask.
