What is the correct dress for dressage competitions in the UK at local level? E.g. what color jacket, boots or chaps and stock etc etc. Any information appreciated! Thanks! x

  1. Hi, good luck by the way!! Your required stuff is:

    Tweed or black jacket

    White shirt with either - white tie/stock

    Cream/beige/white/canary/champagne jodhpurs or breeches

    Long boots, or short boots with matching gaiters (NOT chaps). Prerably black, must match the jacket (ie if you wear brown boots it'll have to be with a matching tweed jacket)

    Velvet hat (which matches the jacket). NOT a skull cap.

    Gloves (black or white)

  3. Proper attire is black jacket, white stock and black boots. Breeches may vary in color, white or tan colors are most common.
