Question:

Dresser Mirror Conversion???

I have a 70s era mirror that was on a dresser which I really love--the shape and all. The mirror is still basically good---the dresser fell apart several years ago. Anyway, I was thinking of turning it into a hanging wall mirror. It used to be held on with metal poles on the top of the dressor. Are there some "special" mirror hanging clamps? I'm thinking of carefully drilling small holes on the back of the frame and putting screws...worried the weight might be an issue, are there "special clamps or screws" I can use? If I did that put screws, how would I brace it onto the wall? Has anyone here ever turned a dresser mirror into a wall mirror? Feeling pretty dumb here folks!! Thanks!!

  1. I was at Bed Bath and Beyond (donno if its in your area) and I saw these hangers (for the wall) that are build to hold extra weight. Im not sure what they are for, but you could check it out.
