Hi, I'm going to a new school and I'm going to have to dress in a business sort of a way. I've never had to dress like that so I have no idea what to wear. Please help. I also really want to make a good first impression. Thanks.

  1. Hmm, I guess it depends on how extreme it is.  Try tailored, fitted pants - black or brown.  Polo shirts are a good idea, and so are collared shirts.  You can have them be different colors to make things more interesting.  Fitted jackets are good too.  Wear minimal jewelry - no body piercings.  High heels are fine as long as they are peep toe or closed toe - no pumps or strapy sandles, and certainly no flip-flops.  Pull your hair up, and wear natural make up.

  2. I'm not sure how strict they are, but if it's business casual you could wear khaki pants with polo shirts. There are tons of cute ones available for girls. If it has to be more dressy then you can wear some slacks with a sweater or button down.

I had trouble with my polyvore but I got it done.

These are all things women would wear in a professional workplace. Your school might have a stricter dress code, but this is the real deal.

  3. First off, make sure you steer clear of jeans. Khakis, grey, or black pants will work.

Invest in a good pair of black heels and a good pair of black flats.

Buy a blazer or two. Also stock up on button downs!!!

The easiest formal outfit is something like this; black blazer, white button down, dressy pants, cute shoes. :)

    Hope it helps.
