Drew League versus Goodman League: The next big game between East Coast and West Coast: NBA Update
The Drew league versus the Goodman league is certainly a very popular event in the United States of America (USA) and more importantly people who love basketball in this country. Since the National Basketball Association (NBA)
has locked its players, the basketball lovers are looking much excited to watch this game that will be played on Saturday 20th August at the Trinity University.
The clash of East Coast and West Coast will be a fascinating event to watch which is no doubt bringing world attention to this game as well. This is certainly a most anticipated street ball event which would bring hundreds and
thousands of fans to this game. The game is called “Capital Punishment” and would bring the NBA stars come together in this uncertain situation in the NBA.
The Drew League is from Los Angeles and the Washington DC’s Goodman League would compete in star studded game which has a primary focus to support charitable organizations. The revenue of this game will be distributed among the
several non-profit leagues’ charities. The International sports brand “NIKE” is also endorsing this event which has created much hype for its fan following.
The long time commissioner of the Goodman League, Rawls, gave a telephone interview to a local sports news channel and said in detail over the upcoming event. He was very excited to say, “I’m pumped. To be honest with you, I’m
more than excited; I’m ecstatic, the game is a long time coming. I didn’t think it was going to happen at first, but it’s here.”
Rawls further said with total confidence. “This is just the beginning, Next year; we’re taking it to them on their own court.”
Some reports have also speculated about the both leagues which are planning to organize these kinds of events more often and on regular basis. This time the Drew league is coming to Washington D.C while the next event is likely
to stage in the Los Angeles and this rematch will be played most likely in September.
On the other hand, Dino Smiley, commissioner of the Drew League also commented on the game with great excitement and said with complete determination. Smiley said, “When you knock on a door so many times, someone is going to answer,
we’re coming to answer on the 20th.”
The Goodman League consists of NBA renowned player, Kevin Durant, along with John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Gary Neal, Ty Lawson and Michael Beasley While the Drew League includes; JaVale McGee, DeMar DeRozan, Brandon Jennings and
James Harden.
The Goodman League player Michael Beasley was also very excited ahead of Saturday’s game. “The Drew League, they play indoors. They don’t anything about this hard life. We’re from the streets out here; we’re going to get the win.
We’re going to dog them. It’s guaranteed.”
