Drew brees for matt leinart ?

im playin fantasy football with people in my school and i have matt leinart and my friend has drew brees and i just traded him is this a good trade?

Drew Brees right now is way better. Leinart has potential but brees is a superior QB at this time.

Whoever got Drew Brees is the winner in this trade.

Due to Brady's record setting season, many people overlooked somebody like Brees who quietly got around 4,400 yards and about 30 TD's. They have a great offensive minded head coach in Sean Payton. They had a solid stable of RB's with Reggie Bush, Deuce, Aaron Stecker and Pierre Thomas (Pierre might be the best all around back as Bush is more a RB/Slot receiver hybrid player). Colston is one of the best young WR in the game, they have a solid veteran WR in David Patten, Lance Moore is highly under-rated and Meachem should be healthy and contribute in a big way this year. Oh, and there is this whiner guy name Shockey who is still a h**l of a player.

Leinart has weapons and an improving O-Line, but Boldin is not even talking with the coach at this point and is requesting a trade ASAP. Edge is heading to the twilight of his serviceable years as an NFL starting RB, Tim Hightower is a rookie who is more suited to goal line situations and Kurt Warner is pushing for the starting job.

Yes. Warner may play more than Leinart and Brees is better (right now) anyway.

Well it was just announced that Leinart will be starting the next preseason game but as of right now I would rather have Brees than Leinart who is in somewhat of a battle for the starting job so I would say you got the better end.

It's a great trade for you.  Brees is a top 4 QB, while Leinart may not even start.

Very good your friend is dumb. Drew Brees has more talent, although maybe not as much talent around him. Also Leinart is injury prone and the second he gets injured, in goes kurt warner for the rest of the year. Nice.
