Question:

Dried fruits around Pasadena

Anyone know where I could get bulk (or even in big packs) dried fruit around Pasadena at releatively cheap prices (i.e. Trader Joe's is too expensive)? I'm a student at PCC, so the closer to there, the better.

I'm looking for dried mango, papaya, and apple rings specifically.

  1. It's not nice to talk about old people like that.

    Seriously now..

Try Sam's Club or Costco.  Check some of the ethnic stores as well.

  2. you need to go up to Washington Village in Pasadena...it's on washington blvd between hill and allen...

there are several stores there that will have it for cheap!

there is #1 Garni meat market.. its a deli but they have all kinds of other stuff there too for super cheap! then there is Good Food on the corner of allen and washington behind the starbucks...there you will totally luck out!

and last but not least there is the NUT HOUSE on washington about four blocks east of hill! they have stuff too!
