Dried mortar stains?

Does anyone know of a way or product to remove dried mortar stains off of a brick patio?

A boring but easy trick that's environmentally friendly without seeing your problem.

Take a putty knife/scraper being careful not to damage brick,get what you can.The use white vinegar (a mild acid) and a tooth brush sized brush and brush with it.It will take a little time but can be done easily.

scrub with muriatic acid and a brush....

coca-cola and a brush will work too.....but take longer...
