the batteries of a submerged nonnuclear submarine supply 1000 A at full speed ahead. How long does it take to move Avogadros number (6.02 * 10^23) of electrons at this rate?

  1. we know that amperage is charge per unit time.....

    A = q/s...... at 1000amps we have 6.25E21 electrons per second..... we simply divide avogadros number (6.02E23) by 6.25E21 and get an answer of 96.32 seconds
