Question:

Drifting away from my family?

So I'm a 13 year old female, and I sort of feel like I'm drifting away from my family. I mean I hardly ever see my Dad cos he's working all the time, and when I do, he's really tired. My sister's 10, and we argue all the time. I try being patient and nice and 'big-sisterly', I really, really do, but every time, she pushes me away and bites my head off. I'm closest to my other sister, but she's 4. And I don't really talk to my Mum at all. I spend most of the time, walking, sailing, writing or on the computer, but it's alienating me, and I really hate iit! Any ideas for help? Please?

  1. Whew! that is a tough situation.Family is always ones best support.

In your case you are not being paid the right attention. You are tender at age too. What you can do is try making friends with people of your age and try hanging out with them.

Regarding your sis(10),don't bother arguing with her.Talk to her only when necessary.Try to avoid any discussions with her.Be nice if possible,if not stay away from her.

You can play with your small sis(4), for some time pass.

  2. try talking to your mom when you 2 are alone.

and your dad maybe write him lil notes for him

to read while he's at work. and the 10 yr old sis

just try talking to her and letting her know you'll

    always be their for her.
