Question:

Drink Suggestions for Kahlua Vanilla, Kahlua Hazelnut and Bacardi Limón?

I work at a bar, and my boss accidentally ordered too much Bacardi Limón. It's in my way and I want to sell some drinks with it in it, mostly to get rid of it, any suggestions? I don't drink, so I don't know what's good/not good.

Also we got some samples from Kahlua: Hazelnut and French Vanilla. Also in my way, also want to get rid of them.

I've looked at some other sources and already have some recipes, but I'd like to hear some more.

  1. The Limon you can treat just like lemon/citrus vodka, any drinks that call for that you can use. Plus it makes distinctive rum&cokes.

The Kahlua samples are a bit trickier, put the French Vanilla in a "French White Russian" and maybe the Hazelnut in something with Amaretto?  They'd be good for car bombs too, I bet.

  2. I would surely not mix these up.  Anything lemon never goes with anything creamy.  Even the thought makes my stomach turn.

In the Limon - make some "light" cocktails like Mike's Hard Lemonade. Mix in a beer mug and add a straw and a wedge or twist of lemon - maybe dredged in sugar.

With the Kahlua - my spouse likes something called an "Aggravation" but never can get any bartender to make it.  It is Kahlua, cream or half & half, and scotch.  Over ice in a tall highball glass. Sprinkle some nutmeg on top and maybe some whipped cream.
