Drink driving offence

My partner has been caught dui for the 2nd time in 1 month - he is due in court on weds for both charges... looking at various websites the penalty seems to be loosing his liscence - however - he is here on a years holiday and has a british liscence - i understand that tey cannot touch this... therfore my question is - what punishment is he likely to have to accept.... we are in Perth WA

  1. Maybe they will ship his dangerous alcoholic *** back to Britain before he kills someone here.


  2. More then likely he cannot drive in Washington without a Washington license, as the traffic laws differ quite a bit from Britain.  They can report this event to INTERPOL and let them take it from there.  The State of Washington will probably give him a stiff fine and/or jail time.

  3. Try again. A year in jail.
