Drinking 8 glasses of water: how much is too much

i am going to start drinking 8 glasses of water everyday, and i wanted to know how much water is too much. i weigh about 110lbs if that makes a difference. =)

  1. As long as your kidneys function properly and you don't have congestive heart failure, it's really hard to drink too much water. The recommended amount is 1/2 oz per pound of body weight per day.


  2. well they say devide your weight by 5oml and then that will say your rough daily intake about 2L or more

  8. Well that`s what the health experts say, 8 glasses a day. If you`re hot and perspiring that makes it easier to do, but did you ever try to drink that much water when you are not thirsty, pretty hard to do.

  9. 8 to 10 glasses  is good. especially as you might be slightly dehydrated and not even know it.

    Basically the rule, as my doctor told me, is look at your urine. If there is no color then you have enough water in your system and you need to stop. If you are drinking a lot of water and are still thirsty, you need nutrients, so switch to juice for a bit.
