  1. According to Holland America's website.....

"Alcoholic beverages will not be served to guests under age 21."

  2. im pretty sure all of europe is age 18

  3. The legal drinking age on ALL cruise lines is age 21 and over. AND, it does not matter whether you are in international waters, whether you are docked in a foreign port, or that you sailed from a port in Europe or South America. Its 21 all over and the cruise lines do enforce the rule.

The ONLY exception to this rule is if a person under the age of 21 is cruising with a parent the parent can if he/she wants sign a waiver that allows the minor to have beer and/or wine. Otherwise when each person under the legal drinking age boards ship his/her cruise card that is use as the room key and charge card for everything on ship contains a restriction that prohibits that person from purchasing alcoholic beverages.

  4. if you leaving from the US, its 21 on the ship

  5. The legal drinking age is 21 on all cruise ships except for MSC and Costa where the drinking age is 18, if they are not sailing from a US port, when it is 21.

On Holland America, even when sailing in Europe, it is 21.

  6. Any cruise line based in the US. or cruise ship sailing from the US is bound by US federal law, so the drinking age on board will be 21.

Holland America is based in Seattle
