Drinking Milk Before Sleeping?

If I drink nonfat milk before sleeping for the calcium, protein, etc. right before I sleep, will I gain more weight?

  1. If you drink anything other than water before bed you will gain weight. Your metabolism slows down when you sleep, so since water has no calories...then it won't make you gain. Anything else, yes.

  3. you shouldn't really eat or drink anything except water at least a few hours before bed.  at night your bodies metabolism slows down, result in you body burning less calories while you sleep.

  6. there is no science that says you will gain weight if you eat right before bed. loosing weight and gaining weight are two simple things.. you consume more calories than your body burns to gain weight and #2 you burn more calories than you take in to loose weight. you will not gain weight by drinking milk before bed.

    but,, we better not drink milk -or anything- right before we sleep.. coz it's not good for our kidney..

    beside drink a lot before sleep may wake you up at late nite for pee..

    try to drink it few hours before,, at least one hour..
