Drinking age in canada?

what is the legal drinking age in Winnipeg, Canada? Is the law any different if i am with my parents? thanks!

If you are in a bar you still have to be 18..it doesn't matter  if you are with your parents in a restaurant or bar because its that person's liquor licence on the line. However, your parents can buy you alcohol to be consumed on private property.
