I live in the UK.

It's currently 18, but from October the legal drinking age gets upped to 21.

It's 18 everywhere, I live here, it isn't 21 at all - the reason some people think this is because certain shops and pubs have signs saying "If you look under 21 ID may be requested" This is because a lot of younder teenagers look 18, even if they aren't.

The age is 18. Full stop.

18 according to the law, however independent shops and clubs set their own restrictions on 21.
