  1. i turly believe alcohol is overated, if you do it modertly and with friends, its better to get some experience before you go to some random party and take some drinks and then pass out because its your first time. as long as you feel ready resposible and mature enough to handle your choices and actions. a little fact i read that if you drink under the age of 14, or the age of 14 you are at higher risk of becoming an alcholic in your lifetime!

  2. Drinking anything more than a small amount of wine at the family table is too much for a teen.  Some would say that is too much.

  3. Drinking is normal when you are a teenager. But when it revolves around it, then that will be bad.

  4. no do wat makes you feel goodddd

  5. you bet but but not for a few years so whats the problem

  6. as long as you dont get smashed it shouldnt

if you drink because you like the taste and not simply to get drunk

    it is ok :D:D

  7. Yes.  Alcoholics don't get addicted by just looking at a bottle of alcohol and reading the label.

  8. Yea thats way too much maybe once a month would be alright but not every few days and yes it could lead to alcoholism. And if alcoholism is in your family I would definitely stop what your doing because you could be next

  9. When you start adding an extra consonant to the end of all of your words, you've already drank too much.

  10. alcoholism is inherited is your parents are alcoholics then you have a better chance of it becoming a problem for you if not its still not a great thing to get into trust me i failed freshmen year because of it but if i were you i would slow down a bit and if your parents or family members drink slow down alot

  11. If a teen drinks at all their at high risk for becoming an alcohalic and shouldnt be drinking at all.

  12. There's a lot of variables here.  It's easy to say it *could* lead to alcoholism.  About 10% of drinkers are alcoholics, from what I understand.  This doesn't mean they are trying to stop, and it also doesn't mean they're losing jobs and families over it.  That group of alcoholics would naturally be smaller, and they are the ones that are most concerning.

So, the variables, as I was saying.

    - Family history.  If you're drinking that much and you have alcoholics in the family, there's a very good chance that you would become an alcoholic.

    - Age.  Generally, people under 16 who drink frequently are more likely to become alcoholics than those who started drinking at 18-21.  By 21, there is a much smaller chance of becoming an alcoholic.  The brain stops developing around 20/21, so growing up for 5-7 years with alcohol through your teen years really changes you physically.  It is natural to become somewhat addicted drinking a lot at a young age.

    - Personality, other disorders.  Someone with an addictive personality or ADHD could become an alcoholic more easily than someone who doesn't have those traits/disorders.

Just be honest with yourself.  If you think you have a problem, or that you could end up with a problem by keep on doing what you're doing, then you should try to stop.  It's much easier to stop now than it would be later.  You don't even have to stop completely.  You could simply cut back, and not get drunk more than, say, once a month.  After me and my friends spent over $500 in March on alcohol (in my defense, it was really good stuff, some beers were like $7 for 1 bottle), I just decided to stop altogether for a couple months.  That was just a financial decision, I've since started to drink again, but not to the point where I blackout and start hitting my best friend.

  13. I drank some when I was a teen. about 3 times a week on average. I am not an alcoholic.

Knowing your limit is key. If your not getting drunk when you drink then that's fine. When I drank I didn't get drunk, a little tipsy, yes, but not drunk. I think if you are a social drinker, like i was and still am, then its fine. I actually don't drink as much as I did back then. Now only about once a week, Friday not out :-D.

  14. every few days is too much.

  15. Yeah, you'll probably be an alcoholic when you're older.  I mean, you already feel the need to drink every few days now, so soon it'll be everyday, and then multiple times a day.  And then your liver will fail from all that alcohol and you'll be stuck in a hospital bed for the rest of your life.  Have fun!

  16. when you  begin putting  Gatorade in your Gin.

  17. Some people may think that drinking every few days will turn into a bad habit; just drink on the weekends, not during the week. But that's just my suggestion; do what you feel is right.

  18. WHOA!! EVERY FEW DAYS??

go check into alcholcs anomise tomorow

    and dont type drunk

  19. every few days might be a bit much.

every weekend should be allright tho..

  20. yes very much so! before you no it you'll be drinking a lot more and not even know it .
