Drinking in England???

my footy team is going to england this week and i'm wondering if theyll serve alcohol to 15 & 16 year olds. I know the legal age is 18 but i hear they're pretty leniant. Anyone with experience over there know how it goes?

having worked in a bar in england if you look under 18 you are likely to be i.d'd . These days the risk of the penalty if they are caught letting you drink under age isn't worth it to them. If you look young get one of the others who looks older to get the drinks for you

When I just turned 17 (like 5 days after) I took a trip to England with my school friends and I was never ID'ed .... but I tiped well and acted confident like I knew what I was doing and ordering

buuut... england and some other countries are not always so strict with alcohol...
