Drinking in Puerto Rico?

I am traveling to Puerto Rico with my parents next month (August). I will be 18 in September. Will I be able to drink? Are my parents able to buy me drinks?

but here they dont really care

so maybe in some places they may ask you for an ID but yeah ur parents can buy u drinks

i live in puerto rico and the age is 18 ..in puerto rico they do ask for id in more of the tourist areas and most of the clubs but if you are 18 you will have funn

I live in PR and I can tell u that none of the places that I've been to has ever asked me for ID. Dont know if I look of aged but I have never encountered any problems. So have fun and drink up! jijiji (make sure to try the Bacardi and Gasolina!)
