  1. Personally I like to have my own glass.  If both of you are healthy you should be ok.  Remember though that you can catch Mono from sharing a drink.  A person can have mono and not even know it.

People can also carry sicknesses that their immune systems can handle, but you may not be able to fight it off.

In the end it is your decision, but there is always a risk when you drink for another person's cup/bottle.

Happy drinking and make sure neither of you backwash.

  2. It depends on the strength of your immune system and the potency of what is potentially being transmitted.

  3. If you would kiss them then you should have no qualms about sharing his/her glass!

  5. i did that one time accidently----and just as i swallowed i felt the floaters go down my throat---he was eating a cheesburger---and got his back wash in the glass---i threw up-- instantly---

  6. Yes, you can easily contract Mono (mononucleosis) which is an infection that is extremely serious and is also called "The Kissing Disease"....be extremely cautious about who you drink after.

Mono requires antibiotics and usually hospitalization.

  7. I do

  8. If you're both healthy, then you shouldn't get sick.

  9. Well, you'd be sharing DNA and anything else that two healthy people can pick up.  Personally, I don't think it's a good habit to share stuff like that.
