Is it possible to drink too much milk.

I drink about half a gallon to 3/4 a gallon of skim milk a day. Is that too much? Is it unhealthy?

  1. i have no idea, i dont think you can drink too much milk besides the fact of getting fat because that will definitely make you fat but yeah just cut back on the milk people dont drink that much drink like 2-3 full glasses per day. you have to have a balanced diet.

    p.s i think the milks goin to your head because that question was extremely stupid, most people are aware that 3/4 gallons of ANYTHING is way too much

  4. milk is healthy but if you drink too much you will get sick i drink alot too but once my stomach hurts i know i drank too much

  5. I drink a gallon of 2% a day. you're better off than me. Milk can be fattening but if youre working off the calories then it doesn't matter, the only other unhealthy thing really is dairy can constipate you if you have too much.

  11. It is possible to drink to much of anything.  Why do you drink s much milk?  You only need 2-3 8oz glasses a day.  I would be concerned about your calcium level, too high is not good.

  13. No, milk is great for you.  Since you are drinking skim, you are not getting a whole bunch of calories, so that's fine.  It could possibly be a problem if you were drinking whole milk because of all of the fat.

    There IS such thing as Vitamin D toxicity, but it's usually attributed to synthetic Vitamin D and to "overdose" only off milk is unlikely.
