I've ehard that drinking a warm liquid, like hot chocolate or tea, while outside in cold weather, may make you FEEL warm, but the liquid will actually release body heat. Is this true? Also, sources, if you can.

  1. i don't know if this is true.. .but i know that when i was a kid, i remember getting a national geographic kids magazine that said not to drink warm fluids in the cold outdoors b/c it fools you into thinking you are warmer that you are. to wait until you're inside and the drink will work better. So it is possible, I guess...

  2. Why would you be asking this in JULY?
