Question:

Driver's Ed Course Question?

This is very embarassing for me, but I am 20 yrs old and have never really driven before. I have been under the wheel maybe twice in my life and now I really want to get a license.

I have studied the book and know the traffic laws etc.

So I am curious as to what portion of the driving course should I take. Am I gonna have to take the actual class portion too, even if I feel confident that I can pass the written test.

I am just a bit confused.

  1. as with EVERY-THING in Life ......do the whole lot.

even if you `think` you know some-thing,,,,,rules may have changed and it`s better to be informed than show your Ignorance ..... and the Law does NOT take Ignorance into account. (for your mis-demeanour)

    your choice....make the Right One!

(and don`t give 2 hoots about what other People might think , it`s your Life....NOT theirs)    x*x   :>)

  2. It depends on what state you're in. But the state law will dictate what the class will study.

  3. If you take an entire course, which would include classroom and in car sessions, then you would have more understanding of techniques and rules, which you will use when taking the in-car lessons.

A lot of people try shortcuts, but you tend to lose something if you do this.

Enjoy this life skills training and embrace what you learn with an open mind, because you will be using and developing those skills throughout the rest of your driving years. It's an investment in your own safety on the roads.

  4. Best to do the entire course to be sure there is nothing you missed.

    Safety first.
