  1. You need proof of residency.

    Birth certificate pieces of mail...

Then you have to take a road test. If you have a permit depending on which state your in they might have you take a written test as well..

The test is basic, well at least where i am from...

(the test here consist of signs)

    Good luck

  2. you will have to take both i think but ask your driving instructer just in case

  3. Yes there is a written and an exam. States are different though. You should go to your states site and it will tell you what all needs to be done. The written test is made up what do certain sings that only have pictures mean, different line patterns...etc. It is all in your driving book that you should go and pick up. Yuo need your birth certificate, I.D (can be school) and social security card now.

  4. Your driving instructor should really be able to set it all up for you

  5. well in florida, you don't have to take a writing test. you just drive on this course behind the dmv. make sure you check all of your mirrors before moving. also, they will check to make sure ALL of your exterior lights are working. dont fret. know how to do three-point turns and parallel parking.

  6. In MD you need your learners permit and certificate of passing drivers ed. No written test and no public road driving. Just (in this order) parallel park, 3 point turn about, stop sign, back up, stop sign, park. done.

  7. Okay dude. For me you had to take a written test to get a permit. But for a license its just a driving test. Just have the same info you had before. They'll take you to your vehicle and ask you stuff like turn on blinkers, head lights, windshield wipers, etc. Then they'll get in and tell you where to go. Once you return the'll grade you and give you a license. Did this help?

  8. 1. road test only... pretty much driving... they had me drive and reverse through cones... park, parallel park, back into parking spots etc

    2. proof you took the class portion of drivers ed, your permit and their money

    3. its easy... remember driving is a simple task.

  9. it depends on if you took drivers ed, how long youve had your permit, and if you have any infractions against you....

  10. you have to have your passport or birth certificate and your permit with you with a $60 fee for your license and $30 for your test. I am taking my road test on the 8th and i am taking mine through my drivers education class, and if you took drivers ed then no you don't have to take a written test, because if you took a almost 100 question test then that was the written test. So of course i am not sure if the test is hard or not because i am taking mine of Friday. But my advise to you is to ask your drivers ed if you can take the road test with them, mine is costing me $120 and they said that if you take your test through the driving school, then it is really hard to fail it, you might want to try that. Good Luck!

  11. nope....

TEst:  you need your id, photo's, money, copy of your id and an eye test for when you go to make an appointment.  (this is in south africa)

when you go for the test, you need to inspect your car in and outside(its really easy and fast)

then they take you to drive in a place, where you have to do parking, reverse, emergency stop, make a 3 point turn etc.

if you do that all correctly they take you out on the road, and if you drive nicely, you pass!  Good luck
