  1. During your drivers test, i bet if you don't turn to check your blind spots when changing lanes and parallel parking, you will get points off - - - as there really is no other way to check those 'blind spots' (hence why they're called blind spots).

You will also - most likely (of course your state's laws may vary), get points off if you only use one hand while parking!

So, to be on the safe side, you have a couple options:

    1) call your dept of motor vehicle / dept of public safety or

whichever agency does the testing, and ask them your

specific questions - they'll be glad you asked ahead of

         time, and it shows responsibility!

    2) check your state's motor vehicle drivers manual

    3) ask your 'proctor' (the person who rides with you when

         you test)

    4) check your blind spots by glancing over your shoulder

    5) use TWO hands, and the appropriate method (usually hand

over hand steering) when parallel parking, and driving in

         general for your test :-).

Good luck, make sure you come to COMPLETE stops, have confidence, and you'll be fine, always remember though, SAFETY first and foremost :-)!
