  1. First thing you must do is buckle your seatbelt! If the DMV personnel doesn't see you doing this, than you fail before you get out of the parking lot. Also, review all the hand signals; the DMV instructor will ask you these ASAP.

    For the tips,

    1. Don't go 3mph above or below the speed limit. The DMV instructor might fail you on that alone.

    2. Before you take the test make sure your car is in working condition and you have insurance, otherwise you won't be able to take the test.

    3. Talk to the DMV person, if they see you are confident and calm behind the wheel they won't have an issue with giving you a license. Now, i'm not saying to go on and on, but just make small talk.

    4. Dont' make excuses if you do something wrong. Just keep driving! If you start saying "Ooops! I did that because..." you will have failed right than and their.

    5. Continuously scan the road. Every 20 seconds look at all your mirrors and make sure you move your head. The instructor must see you doing that.

  2. A lot of it depends on the person that gives you the test. But fist off, make sure you are buckled up& also make sure, before you and the tester take off,you check all of your mirrors. They are looking at everything you do,from the moment you get in the car. Good Luck!

  3. never go more than the speedlimit..no matter what.

listen to the tester. if you dont understand what they are saying, ASK! but don't let what they have to say get to you
