  1. YES and YES.

They give out drivers licenses like its a God given right to drive a motor vehicle. Just look around you on the highway and see if you can count the number of drivers that should not be on the road. I'm sure that you will see a lot.

I used to go for drives for the sheer pleasure of it. Not anymore. Too damned risky (dangerous). We have a population of drivers coming up through the ranks that think they are all Scott Hamitons or Dale Jr.'s.

I'm not saying that I don't speed on occasion to but I at least know my limits and I don't do it in traffic.

I went for my school bus endorsement a few weeks ago. I got a wake up call when they failed me. I have since retaken the test and passed but it was humbling to be reminded that even an experienced driver can be improved upon. I am all for retesting. Keeps us on our toes.

  2.     Testing should be tougher and the minimum age should be raised to 25.

  3. Yes...............

    1. Minimum age to start driving should be 19 years of age.

    2. Retesting should be done for all people every two years until the age of 35.

    3. Retesting should be done for all people over 35 years of age annually.
