Why are they so d**n mean? I took my test today.... failed and he was yelling at me and almost made me cry. It was almost like his goal for the day was to freak out on someone so bad and make them cry so they would panic and fail. well i just wanted to know if anyone else felt they same as i do.

  1. Well this is very simple and if it is true what you said then I would report this and ask for a different instructor.........

  2. You have a lousy instructor - period...No instructor should ever berate or yell at a student - especially one behind the wheel...If the instructor is not satisfied with a student's driving, the training should be stopped so the instructor can explain what is required with the student's full attention...Guidance from the instructor while on the road should always be in a calm, even voice and in a clear and concise manner.

I would politely inform Mr. Instructor that I do not appreciate his verbal tirade at me and if it happens again, it will be reported to management...You're paying his salary...Oh, yeah, while you're on the road with him, his life is in your hands.

  3. Butterflykisses(How sweet!)

I agree with Dani, the problem with driving instructors is that they don't teach you how to drive, they teach you how to pass the driving test. Which I believe is totaly wrong! Young drivers need to be prepared for all situations. This may sometimes include being yelled at or put in a situation where you will have to make a split decission under pressure. And this could be the difference between life or death. So if you feel that the testing instructor was being hard on you, wait until you have to face other angry drivers or even worse, road rage.I'm not making excuses for him, I know they can be cranky old b******s sometimes. So try not to take it as a personal attack on you. If you failed this time, don't take it to heart. Just go back stronger and more determined to pass next time. Good luck and drive safely.

  4. It might have been done on purpose.. if you think about it, you will be driving for the next 70 or so years of your life, you are bound to end up driving at some piont where you are crying, in an argument, distracted, etc... you need to be preparred to handle all types of situations...

  5. maby your just a lousy driver and he done you a favor. your not the instructor remember

  6. All you can do is try again and HOPE you get a more professional instructer next time. Dont let that guy get you down or you will lose confidence and not do as well next time. Practice makes perfect and you can and will pass!
