Question:

Drivers: Do you have 'vehicle inspection' in your state?

The state I live in did away with it, but some people still want to bring it back. I remember having my vehicle in some person's garage who would not pass my vehicle for little things. Then they charged me high prices, took up a lot of my time, and treated me like trash all the while.

I do believe people should keep their cars in good working order, but most people do that anyway, especially the brakes. No one wants to go slam into someone else, or a wall either!

Do you have to do the inspections? Do you think they should be brought back if you don't have them? I'd like to hear some good reasons if someone would like to have them back.

  1. In Missouri it is a required step when you go to renew your car license plates. I had to have it done earlier this year. I was able to have it done at a car dealership(Mazda).

I was able to get it done in a few hours since I went in the middle of the month.

I agree with you that people should keep their cars in good working order.

The state of Missouri also has car emissions testing.

  2. We have them in Texas and I have been doing them for 30 years and they should be required in all states because you would not believe some of the vehicles that I have to reject, it surprises me that they would even come in for the inspection, they are held together by wire and gum..

  3. if you cant afford to keep your car safe you shouldnt have one.lots of people think they'll never get into an accident

  4. We have air care  But cars don't kill . People do

  5. Kansas has no inspections or emissions testing.. We had inspections for awhile several years ago when you bought a car . but it was a racket for those who inspected and repaired cars also. They then did away with it. I don't think we need inspections..............ujn
