Drivers Seat Adjustment for a 1997 Ford Taurus???

hello, I just bought a 1997 ford taurus and was wondering if there was a way to lower the seat, I know how to slide it front and back and adjust the incline but I was just wondering if there was some way to lower the seat, because the car that I had before had an automatic control to lower the seat, the old owner didn't know how to do it.

if its power seats then you can if its manual then no. but the motor might be messed up if its power

unless the car is equipped with electric seats there is no way to lower the seat portion, you can only move it front and back or tilt back up and down.
