  1. noo

    if you break a law

no dont worry about paralell parkin in its only worth like 2 or 3 points

    dont speed!

  2. well im from australia, and i dont think if you fsail to parallel park you automatically fail. but just take your time and even if you dont get it in one go you should still be right.

automatic failures - speeding, failing to stop at a stop sign, rolling through a stop sign, etc

when parking, make it REALLY obvious that you are looking and dont wear sunglasses... my friend wore sun glasses and failed because he wasnt moving his head heaps....

    good luck!:)

  3. When in doubt remember you can kill the prostitute to get your money back, and L2 fires out the window with the sub machine gun.

  4. Did you have formal training from a paid instructor or just a few rides around the block from a friend?  If you don't know the answer to #3, then you're not ready to share the road with my family.  What else you should know? Take formal lessons and get practice behind the wheel.

    Your question alone is scary.

  5. 1. Yes.

    2. Speeding, not stopping at a stop sign, running a yellow or red light.

    3. Use your mirrors only.

    4. See below..........

STEERING Steer smoothly whether you are driving straight ahead, turning or backing up.

ACCELERATION Accelerate smoothly and moderately. Don't race the engine or cause it to stall.

BRAKING Bring the vehicle to a stop gently. Start braking well before your stopping position to avoid "jerky" stops. Make sure you stop your vehicle in the proper position of the lane.

CLUTCH/GEAR Always be sure your vehicle is in the correct gear. With either an automatic or a manual transmission, shift into the proper gear at the right time without "grinding" the gears.

SPEED Obey the posted speed limit, of course, but also adjust your speed properly due to weather, road, visibility and traffic conditions.

FOLLOWING DISTANCE Keep an adequate space "cushion" between your vehicle and those you are following. Use the "two second rule" described in the Driver's Manual. Be sure to increase your following distance in poor weather or visibility.

TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Know the meanings of signs, signals and pavement markings, and obey them consistently.

STOPPING POSITION If a stop is required, stop your vehicle before it reaches an intersecting street. If stop lines or crosswalks are present, stop before crossing them. If your view is blocked after stopping behind the crosswalk, move up until you can clearly see your way, then stop again if necessary.

LANE SELECTION AND POSITION Keep your vehicle in the proper traffic lane, especially when preparing to make turns. Don't allow room for another vehicle to pass you on the side that you are turning toward.

COMMUNICATION Let other drivers and pedestrians know which way you want to go. Use your directional signals or horn consistently and at the proper times.

OBSERVATION Look for and identify potential problems or hazards in the traffic around you - not just straight ahead, but behind you and on either side. Check your mirrors frequently, but be sure to look over your shoulder behind you when changing lanes or backing up.

ANTICIPATE & REACT TO OTHERS Anticipate possible driving errors by others and be ready to react safely to make up for their mistakes.

  6. 2.automatic failure past a stop sign , turn at the wrong lane , no seat-belt

3.paralell parking hand behind the passanger seat

    1. yes

    4. if you fail you can always  retake it unless u got arrested by cop

  7. 1.- You should not fail for failing parallel parking.

2.- Anything that could get you a ticket will be automatic failure.

3.- look back when parallel parking.

4.- Just try to be calm and don't think about failing just DRIVE!

  8. no you don't automatically fail it depends on how many points they take off but you should be fine parallel parking is very easy they should help you because that is what there getting paid for

well not stopping at stop lights and other stuff  put your hand behind the passenger seat and look back thorough your window

and you don't fail they probably just stamp you and then you have to drive with a dot dmv person

the person where you get your license

but do not miss any days of drivers class because that will suck very much making up that day if its even possible

  9. -for mine we didn't have to parallel park!!!

-going on the curb, poor control of the vehicle, going 6 mph over, running a red light, turning from the wrong lane

  10. Don't forget to buckle your seat belt "first." <}:-})

  11. 1-- you would fail THAT part. you dont have to do the ENTIRE test over again just that section

2--tapping a cone... dont hit anything at all

the cones are like people or cars.. they dont want you hitting them

3--put your hand behind the passengers seat

4-- i only know this because my sister is getting her test done real soon

  12. automatic failure- forgetting seat belt, having instructor tell you to watch out for a car, showing up drunk,

regarding question 3, you should have learned that information in drivers education.

  13. um I really don't know but I think if you're not able to do something I think it really hurts you

  14. first of all i agree with the people who said that your qeustion alone (esp. question #3) indicates that you need more time training or going to driving school as opposed to driving around the block a few times with the parents.  with that having been said most of the time you will get a tester who will guide you through the paralell parking (i did).  it's a point system if you fail to signal or fail to park correctly you get minus so many points.  flat out breaking the law is automatic failure (running the stop sign going too fast things like that)

    try to relax

  15. its ok to fail parallel parking just try your best and dont crash.

put your hand behind the drivers seat it is safer

nothing automatically fails you its how you do overall

dont be nervous   where any glasses or contacts   its better to be too slow than too fast

  16. 1  In my town you can't fail because you can not parallel park.I have also heard that only 1 and 12 has to even do a parallel park.

2  Not stopping at stop signs. Uncontrolled intersections (make sure to slow down and look and lean.) If you arrive at a traffic light first (you are the first one in line) make sure you do a left right left traffic check before going, I have heard you can fail from not doing this.

3  I personally put my hand behind passengers seat. This is what i have seen others doing also.

    GOOD LUCK.

  17. If you don't know this .. your not ready..

I suggest you to read...or REREAD your state test practice book again!

  18. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. It may seem like a big deal, but if you relax and take your time, you'll be fine. If you do that horrible on paralell parking you'll fail, but you would have to hit every single cone. And have all of the points taken off. I would look back and also through the mirrors. Its hard to judge distance wise through a mirrors, but if you can't see the cones facing back, use them. Its best to see turning your back to judge distance.

You'll be fine, and its a breeze, coming from someone who hit one cone and thought she failed the whole test, Trully nothing to worry about. If you hit one cone its only one point lost. Most of the time, as long as your in the actual spot, your good, don't worry if its crooked a bit. Thats the reason I hit the cone, trying to fix the crookedness, when it was fine.

So just relax, take your time, and focus. It'll be over before you know it! And just think, now you can drive without the parent!!

Sorry its so long, hope it helps!

  19. I don't Know Jersey but I've taken tests in West Virginia and Virginia and they are pretty much the same.

    1. parallel tests are usually last part of the test. Sometimes you get two cracks at the parking if you are close the first time.

3.when parking use what you are used to doing during practices.

2,4.Automatic failures before you move is to check you mirrors for adjustment, Latch and adjust seat belts, including the tester person. also pay particular attention to road signs, road markings and speed limits.

The road tests any failure is an automatic failure, parking not unless you take out a row of parked cars behind you. most of all relax and listen to directions from the tester. It's easier than you think. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.
