Drivers ed and permits in CA?

i recently enrolled in an online course for drivers ed. i used the name that most people know me by, which is Vincent." however, it is not my legal name. so i was just wondering if this will interfere with acquiring a permit since the form I will be getting might have the name"Vincent" on it rather than my legal name. use your legal name. when you pass the course, you should get a slip in the mail verifying that you have passed the course, with your name on it (the one your used). you then go to your dmv office, and give them the slip, then fill out all the paperwork. then you go and take your written test. which will allow you to start your behind the wheel drivers training. to avoid confusion i would change your enrolled name, and explain what happened. the CA dmv is a ***** to deal with.
