So now, i have to go back to my high school where i know all the kids, sit through these classes with 15 and 16 year olds...Im not happy about it, but i need to be able to drive!!! I feel really lame haveing to go, and the little kids are gonna ask me why im their and what not. Is this stupid for me to be a little embaressed? Any words of comfort i could really use them! thanks.

  1. I would be really pissed also. But If there is a good reason that you are not on the road then your parents made a good choice. The road is not something that should be taken lightly.I would be very embarrassed too. Tell them that you are embarrassed and that you are very upset that might help. Try to tough it out though. I  didn't like it as well so be strong, it is very rewarding when you are done and can be free!

  2. You should be embarrassed, more so because you have stupid parents than anything.

  3. I didn't get my driver's license until I was 18, and although I had been through a driver's ed course when I was 15, due to extreme circumstances I was unable to get a DL until I was living on my own (long story)

Anyway, when I DID get my temporary license when I turned 18, they never asked for verification of previous driver's education, I just had to study a driver's (safety) manual which is what the test was based off of.

I live in WI, so depending on where you live, it might be law to still attend driver's ed classes no matter what your age is... but I would check with your local DMV to check for sure!
