I'm taking drivers ed right now. I think the answer is true. I remember reading about that. My teacher was explaining this question to me, but this could be false it could apply to any turning lanes. My best bet would be true.

i though they were used for left turns at a stop light?????

I think it means the arrows that turn green to make a left turn and it would be true.
