Drivers education: white/pink slip?

whats the difference between a pink slip and a white slip?

you get the pink one after the completion of your class, but where does the white slip come in?

The pink slip is the certificate that you completed driver's education.

The white slip is the certificate that a driving school issues to you when you enroll in driver's training.

You need to be enrolled in driver's training before you can get your permit.

hmm.. you might want to say where you are because in California a pink slip is the ownership paper for a car and the white slip is the registration paper.
