It is a 5 door hatch with electric windows at the front and wind up at the rear.

The front passenger electric windows works fine from both switches but the drivers side electric window does not move..

I changed switches but again I had the same problem.

What could be my problem ?

  1. bad electrical switch or motor

  2. your window motor burned out

  3. Could be the motor burnt out but it is usually the belt that drives the gears or the gear itself. You'll know if this is the case if you can hear the motor doing something, if not probably something electrical. Gears and belts can be found but usually new assembly is purchased.

  4. Try checking for electrict current if present in the switch and to the motor. Check also the mechanical system for stockedup parts.  If all is OK, bring your car to a service center to check on the motor, mechanical and electrical systems.

  5. If you got the switch from the auto wreckers I would suspect a faulty switch.

Make sure the connection is good check wire for a brake at the connector.

Get another switch from the same auto wreckers if connections are good.

If this does not work trade the switch in on a new motor at auto wreckers. If you go this route get a few extra door skin clips while you are there and see if they will let you use the tool they have that is design to remove the door skin as it will make it easier to remove and cause less damage to same.
