  1. have you tried reading the driver's manual?

  2. before going ahead, make sure u turn ur head around n side of the window 2 check 4 incoming traffic, check ur mirrors constantly, do not exceed more than 30MPH, stop behing the STOP sign. just relax n u'll b fine....u r already "failing" by being nervous/anxious about it. good luck my friend.

  3. I'm not from PA , but, I remember when I took my test they tried to trick me into turning the wrong way down a one way street so just pay attention.  I also remember losing points because thy thought i didn't check my mirrors enough. So be obvious so they know you are checking your mirrors. Also make sure the radio is off before the exam person gets in the vehicle.  Having clean windows makes them happy too. GOOD LUCK!

  4. Make complete stops behind stop lines. Use turn lanes when they are provided.

Know when you have the right-of-way and take it when you have it.

Check for blind spots, if you don’t know what a blind spot is, find out before you test.

Don’t rely on your mirrors alone, quick glances over your shoulder when you are backing is good.

Don’t suck-up to the examiner, regardless of what your everyone tells you.

If the examiner whats to talk they will but don’t be overly friendly it makes them think you have something to hide and are trying to distract them in dmv driving test.

And the main thing is…breathe. If you have a good examiner they will make you feel comfortable and at ease in the driving permit test . Good Luck!

  5. Check out http://www.dmv.org and click on your state. This site has loads of useful information.

  6. Be sure to turn you're head dramatically to show that you're looking at side streets, if you're told to do that.  I almost flunked twice, not for not looking, but for not turning my head.  It's a dumb thing to have to do in some states.  I asked if I could just say "I'm looking now"  but that didn'twork.  Anyway if you have to do this, they'll tell you at the beginning of the driving test.  Also remember to relax as much as is humanly possible.  If you're nervous, you'll make more mistakes.  Good luck!!!!

  7. Then re-read the manual and practice and practice driving.  The more you practice and read, the more comfortable you'll be and the higher the chances of you passing your exam on the first try.
