Drivers license, turning 21, gone on birthday...?

Question

I will be 21 on my birthday next month (which is when my lisence expires) but i will be in Vegas for my birthday. I dont want to have an expired lisence since i will be needing it to get in places while i'm there, but you can't get a horizontal lisence until you are 21....how does that work? Do i just renew it a few days before and come back and pay for a horizontal one? Will they let me use a temporary paper lisence to get in places?

Renew your license before you go to Vegas.

Go to the DMV and explain that you'll be out of town. I believe most states will let you renew early anyway. If you're going to Vegas take a lot of money with you, good luck.
