Drivers license law for New Jersey??

Question

What is the current law for getting your drivers license in New Jersey? Do you still have to be 17, or did they increase the age to 18? What about your permit, when do you get it now?

I'm getting a ton of different stories from different people and I just wanted to know the true answer. I'm confused as if they passed the law or not. Anyone know the ages? Any information is appreciated! thanks so much!! (:

Full at 17 years of age..........

No laws have been passed to this date, maybe next year......
