  1. Why would you need to have a diploma to drive?

    You dont.

You just have to be 16

and pass the reading test in 8th grade

    duh hun.

If you are in the US

  2. you need to get a permit no matter what age you are.

My friend go her license at 25 and still had to get her permit.

the time limit you have to wait and the requirements you have to complete before getting your license might change, but you still need the permit.

this site may help you: http://www.dmvflorida.org/learner-permit...

  3. yes you may get your license when your 16. Insurance should be less since your almost 18 an adult. I had my license at 16 and there is no need for a diploma to drive. Diplomas are only require to work at some jobs

  4. You can skip the permit - no matter what.

    (1) go to DMV and pick up driver manual

    (2) study

    (3) go back and take the written test - pass

    (4) with the learner's permit practice driving

    (5) you might have to take the 5 hour class

    (6) take the road test - pass

    (7) be happy.

That is the same for any age. People under 18 just gets JUNIOR license.

    Good Luck...
