Driveshafts have fiberglass one cracked do they still make steel ?

94 serrea pick up 4.3.lt auto can i put a steel drive shaft from different yr in place of fiberglass 1 that is in now even if wheel base is same just thinking drive alot gravel rds

A machine shop that specializes in drive lines can build one.

I can't believe they made the shaft out of fiberglass. Maybe you can find a 92 or 93 that is the same model in a junk yard and has a steel or aluminum one.

SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING FORD WOULD DO.

are you pulling it from another car or what? if not, i'd check what autozone or advance has and see if the driveshafts from different years of your car will fit...or you could just get one from there i am sure
