Driveway Restoration and Cleaning?

I am planning to clean my driveway currently discoloured by moss, lichens, algae, and other pioneer organisms embedded within the cracks of my cobblestone driveway.

I would like to know the 1) materials needed (i.e. environmentally friendly chemicals, power washer, etc) and 2) Proper procedures

A power washer is great, and you can get various types of "green" products specific for the cleaning application.

I suggest trying Tri-Sodium Phosphate ( an industrial detergent) to spot clean the worst stains. You can pick up a box at the home center.
