Driving Help?

Ok so i waited until i was 18 to get my drivers license.... but I'm going to be 18 Aug 24th, and would like to know if i can get my permit now, and take the driving test a month later.

(like you know when you can get your permit at 18 then a month later you can get your license...)

I wanted to know can I go in early for that? like a month early?

It depends on where you live but I would just wait until you are 18 and then just get your regular license........less hassle.

YES! Verify with your DMV but from my understanding, you can apply for your license (NOT provisional) at the age of 17 and a half! So, again, check with the DMV, and go apply and take the test. Hope all goes well!

My BD is Aug 24th too.  Cool to happen across that in answers.  You can get a drive test and a license the same day OR if you get a permit, you MUST wait a month to take the drive test.
