Hello, I am in driving school and I take my written test on July 24th. I need to know how many seconds does it take your eyes to readjust from a glare? I think it is 5 seconds but I need to be sure and I need a tutor so I can pass. I heard the test is extremely hard.

  1. If that's what is in your book, or what the instructor said use it.

The correct answer would be 3 to 5 sec.

BUT, it also has many factors that will increase/decrease it.

Such as age, day or night, the cleanliness of your windshield, if you are wearing glasses, etc.

There is also another question that has the same answer:

How much do you increase following distance under glare conditions?   5 seconds.

Hope this did not confuse you too much, Driving is very complicated and trying to teach all factors is impossible.

Write if you have any other questions.  ----- BILL -------
