At 5:30 am I was going to work there is a stop light that half works that early in the morning There is a gas station that has been vacant for a while to my left I pulled in and went back out to the left on the road bypassing to stop light I was pulled over and told that I couldn't do that and was given a ticket for driving left of center faling to drive said vehicle on right half of highway that was sufficent width for more than one lane of traffic. it took him over 30 min to figure out what to charge me with. two pulled me over. He said that when I pulled out of the parking lot I crossed over that lane to get to my lane . uhh yeah..every time you pull out from somewhere you do that.

how is this possible. there is no thru traffic or nothing in the lot

can anyone help explain this

  1. Most localities will ticket you if you cut through a parking lot to miss a stop light or stop sign.  Don't know why he had a hard time figuring out what to call it, he could have just wrote it up as reckless driving.
