Driving about 30-40 minutes for piano lessons? is it worth it?

I already talked to the piano teacher and im suppose to be there on wednesday. But her studio is about 30 minutes away from my house. is it worth driving that far?

I really want to go.

but i dont have alot of experience driving that far by myself

so im kinda scared?

bring a weapon with you,,,make sure theres gas in the car,,,make sure the tires have air,,,you will be fine

If you're a great player and super serious, it's worth it to drive a little and go to the best teacher.

Or if you live in a rural area and there are no other teachers around.

But otherwise, just get a local teacher if you can find one.

If money is not a problem AND she is VERY good, then yes it is worth it.

Otherwise get a local piano teacher.

Make sure you get a piano teacher that is NOT imitating you.  I live in NYC with lots of world class music schools.  I know of more than few young people who HATE music because the music teacher was so nasty.

From their point of view, music isn't there for you.  You are there to serve the music world.

The problem is that really good teachers are often short tempered.
