it's very similar to Parallel Lines... it's where i got the inspiration...
The Race Breaker
Prologue:
It was fast, it was furious and it crossed the finish line first. It always was and always has been. It was my dad’s car. A 1967 Shelby GT500, my dad was a professional race car driver and he was the best. When I was 12, he was already teaching me to drive. At first I couldn’t handle the stick shift, but when I started to concentrate, I turned into my father’s carbon copy - all into cars, racing, and winning. It has always been his passion. But it all changed after his final race. All I remember was a wrecked track, a burning car and a scream. All I could think was “was this really happening? Is my father really dying?â€Â
I spent the next phase of my life driving for people that were no good to the public. Bank robbers, store thieves, and getaways for killers. What the h**l? I was an orphan and the only thing I know how to do was to drive. Was there anything else for me to do?
