I was wondering what would happen if the police pulled you over at age 14/15. Let's say because like a tailight that's out or your tint is to dark, something along those lines. what would they do? i mean in terms of tickets, they would give you a ticket or would they call your parents or what would they do?

  1. If you were 14, with no driver's license, they would arrest you and make your parents come get you, they would probably impound your car, and you would have to go to court and pay a fine. And the judge might make you wait a couple of extra years to get your license.

  2. It depends on your attitude. They could just call your parents. They could haul you off to jail. No matter what, you won't be driving the car another foot. You will have to make other arrangements to get home as the car is getting towed away and someone will have to pay between $300 and $1,000 to get it back. As for judicial punishment, it will cost you somewhere between nothing and 2-3 years in juvie.

  3. They'd most likely provoke you're chance at getting a license until you are 18. Don't do it, it's too much to risk.

  4. they would take you to jail for driving without a licence

  5. I'm not sure where you live....but where I live....you wouldn't be able to get you license until you were 18.  You'd get a ticket and you'd have to go to court.  You'll be held by the PO until your parents picked you up...most likely.  Driving underage is dangerous and you could kill someone.  Do you want that on your conscious...or do you want to be tried as an adult and spend a long time in jail.

  6. well, don't be stupid and drive underage.....then you wouldn't have that problem!

  7. they would **** you right in the butt

  8. Call your parents. Good luck lol.

  9. Well, at age 15 if you have your permit you are supose to have someone with a liscense in the passenger seat, but if you are 14/15 without a permit then you will have some legal troubles. Yes they would definitely call your parents, and you also would not be able to get your liscense untill I believe 18 years old but that may depend on what state you live in. And Im sure there would be fines. So if your thinking of doing this, I would advice you not to :]

  10. Please don't try it and don't try to drive on the same road I'm on.

There are enough bad drivers out there for some inexperienced kid out there endangering the lives of the rest of us with their driving.

You'll be delayed from getting your real license.

  12. They will give you a citation that mom will have to pay.

You could do what my brother did when he was caught driving at 15.

He was given a no license ticket and one for speeding.

He didn't tell my mom, but the warrants came for his arrest.

He ended up doing 40 hours of community service to pay them off. Mainly, he picked up trash one weekend, and washed fire trucks the next.

  13. They'd call your parents You/ your parents would be fined, the owner of the car would be fined (unless it's stolen, then you have a bigger problem) and they'd probably suspend you from receiving your license until you're 18 or 21 depending. And there would probably be some kind of hearing.

There are enough terrible drivers out there that ARE licensed, you don't have enough experience to handle a car. If you would end up injuring or killing someone you'd have a lot more to worry about than that huge fine you'll receive for driving without a license.

    DONT DO IT!

  14. my friend was 16 and he got pulled over and didnt have a license. now he cant even get one until hes 18 since he broke the law. it is ILLEGAL to drive without one and they wont just call your parents, you will probably get a ticket, cant get your license until 18, and have to go to court. its dangerous to be dumb like that!

  15. more than likely, a ticket, parents called, and running the risk of losing the license you dont even have yet until you're 18

  16. If you get caught driving before you get your license, or even alone on a permit, you will not get your license until you are 18

  17. Call your parents, hefty fine, and license suspension of  5 years or so. Thats what happens where I live at least...

  18. Depends on the cop and state laws. Most likely you will get a fine, your parents will know, and you won't be able to get your license at 16.

  19. Call your parents and they would get a huuuuge ticket plus other legal things
